Details: This 11 gallon per minute hydraulic pump is a must have for any log splitter application. Fits a wide range of applications, most commonly used on log splitters with a rated force less than 35 TON. This 2 stage gear pump allows for maximum speed without a loss of pressure. Pump is preset to gear down at 500 psi. This replacement pump fits a wide variety of log splitters and outdoor power equipment. Pumps work in horizontal and vertical positions. Hydraulic Fluid Type: AW-32 10-Weight (ISO 32) or AW-46 20-Weight (ISO 46) ***Not designed for use with "universal" or "tractor" hydraulic fluid*** Note: Suction-side filtration should be no finer than 150 micron. Use of a 10-25 micron filter on the suction side of the pump is too restrictive and will cause failure.

Make sure hydraulic fluid reservoir is not below pump to ensure a sufficient flow of oil to the pump.
